Qualifications

All of our teachers have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent. About 70 percent have a master's degree or higher.

To teach at Mazapan we require:

• BS or BA in Education and current Certification to teach in the USA, England, Australia or Canada
• A minimum of two years full-time teaching experience in the USA
• Significant recent professional development
• Technology skills and a commitment to improve in personal computer skills
• Commitment to integration of technology into the classroom and curriculum
• Strong oral and written communication skills

We prefer:

• A master's degree
• International school experience in addition to USA teaching experience
• Teachers who are Interested in and are able to coach or sponsor sports, clubs, activities for Middle and High School students (please take note that this requires a significant amount of after-school and/or/weekend time)
